My amethyst is super smooth with no imperfections. Love the gray veins. Ordered another one as a gift after seeing how perfect it is.

Beautiful stone

If you look at the stone in white light, it appears blue because it scatters blue light, similar to how the atmosphere makes our sky look blue during the day. If you look at a lamp through the stone, the lamp appears yellow, similar to how the sun looks yellow when viewed through the atmosphere because some blue light scatters away from a white light source, leaving mostly yellow. When you rotate the stone sideways, the light source will appear more red, like how the sun looks more red during sunset because the light takes a longer path and even more blue light scatters away, along with some green light (leaving only red). Aside from being a great physics toy, it’s also hefty, feels good to handle, and looks nice.

Shape and size? Love ’em. Real grounding.

Not as pink as the pic, but that’s expected. Smooth as silk, feels nice to hold. Great as a gift, and you can never have enough rose quartz. Shipping was speedy.
